we cant just assume wii U will fail , its not selling right now because theres not enough exclusive experiences that differentiate wiiU with the current gen experiences (which is why i havent got it yet) ! people buy x360 for halo, forza, gears etc and ps3 for Uncharted, GOW, Killzone , Ratchet , Infammous and many more ! once the wiiU exclusives start rolling in then it will sell BUT IF IT DOESNT SELL when the exclusives roll in then nintendo will be in BIG trouble !
after getting into steam i gotta agree, i do love having the physical copy to show off my games but thats about it! right now im still deciding if i should go all digital next gen! since i live in Australia prices are high and digital is higher , if i get an american account i would be saving like $30 on new games since u guys have a standard of $60 while we have physical ranging from $70 - $100 and digital at $80 - 100 !
