Am I the only one cracked up that this is on a Nintendo-exclusive site. I applaud them for their honesty and the article itself isn't half bad, but wouldn't editors flip out at someone posting an article on a Nintendo site that not only doesn't showcase much of anything Nintendo but the few instances it does it always does so negatively?

As well as the online players Call of Duty, Battlefield, Halo, Gears etc. Can you play some of these games on PS3 sure, but as a pretty hardcore Playstation fan myself I am not going to sit here and say Playstation Network is better than Xbox Live though because it is not. Bethesda is notorious for not making exclusives anymore. Exclusive launch window? Sure. Exclusive Content? Occasionally. Timed DLC? Absolutely.

They are also unfortunately notorious for making one version and porting it to the rest without giving much concern of any kind over how it will perform on the ports.

What is more likely to happen though is a double release. Say not so hypothetically Xbox720? PS4? release fall 2013? They can re-release a game of the year style game with updated (Graphics, reworked missions, improved controls)
Hopefully we won't be looking at a deliberately above average game so they can "improve" it for the next batch of consoles.

Sadly without a single exception in the last few years any game they haven't delayed the release of ends of being god awful. Square used to be one of my favorite video game publishers. Squeenix? not so much. :(
