It certainly would help by lowering the cost. 1st party games help no doubt but the price of the machine is the biggest factor since most gamers aren't hard-core. I'd bet you if you said the words specifically "1st party" most wouldn't even know what you mean.
Pete. I can agree with all those points even, you can't expect the same sales even with ps4 compared to ps5. the final thoughts and tbh I'm OK with that. The rumored ff9 remake if what was said is true, it sounds perfect. I think they did a fantastic job with star ocean 2 remake as well. Dragon quest 3 remake seems to be heading in a great direction to. I'd be extremely happy with that.

Not true. Switch has a ton of square enix exclusives that never made it to Playstation. But people sure like to complain about ps exclusives from them

Cause as console players consoles is what matters. If they stop on the hardware or have a fire stick type device, then there's no reason to talk about them in the console space. At the moment though they are still in the console space so yes they will be talked about
