Personally I do both. I'd prefer physical and for indies I'm interested in if there isn't a physical or a planned one I'll buy the digital. He'll I've bought digital and physical of the same game. Right now there's a series on sale both together digitally is about 15 16 dollars. I found the physical of it on Amazon for 26. I'm buying physical. It's 10 dollars more but I can accept that

I know this ain't ps4 generation jerky but those same small publishers are still releasing physical games for the ps5 and switch. There all over. Physical isnt dead thats for sure . Also physical games just being an unlock key is far from the norm. There's only been a handful that did that. So for you to make it sound so spread out amongst all these games. Nintendo is doing fine cause people will always buy Nintendo. They also are selling to console and handheld fans. The minute they switch to console only they will fail. In fact they've set the precedent now that I don't think they will ever be able to drop the handheld part. It will fail if they do.

Square certainly is plus their catalogue is deep. I'd put squares catalogue up against Bethesda. Square would win. And I don't even really care for newer final fantasy.

Raising prices of games by 10 dollars. Boo fing hoo. Game prices have rose in 20 to 25 years it was bound to happen. If you can't afford the extra ten don't buy day. I don't. Way to big of a backlog to buy day one. Even when games were 60. If you don't have a backlog then it's probably the system you play on.
