Perfect you said it yourself rlow1. Studios. That's the single biggest difference. Sony bought studios. Studios in fact that majority of there games were made for Playstation. Sony isn't buying publishers of multiplatform games. That's the big difference

Does steamdeck play fallout 1 and 2 alright(control wise) I tried it with a controller off my laptop a couple years ago and it didn't work to well

Sony was also taking a huge loss on ps3s at first. Did you expect them to lower the cost and continue to take an l all generation. Also they didn't cost 600 all generation so at some point it did drop in price.
Naw it really wasn't though. Ps1 ps2 ps4 and probably ps5 will have had better games in the end. Ps3 Era was full of way to many military shooters and fps in general. Jrpg were barely even released on any console. Ps3 as a system was a beast but the games weren't brought like the previous generations

I've also got a decent PC. Cost me about 1100 to put together 4 years ago. Probably a bit out of date. I used it for a bit. Turns out I just prefer to game on console. At some point I plan on hooking up to my TV and whatnot but just haven't.
Yes they definitely westernized ff. I don't care for it these days but it was my favorite series back in the day 10 and prior. I've been playing it since nes. These days I'll wait for it to be 15 20 bucks. I disliked 15 alot. I feel rheyve turned it into an action game.

The term rpg is so loose these days. Every game coming out is an rpg. Let's tighten that sh back up. You level up and pick skills is not the only thing for an rpg. With alot of these loose rpgs. You could consider nba2k an rpg. I level up get tokens. Set them to my attributes and select special moves. I wouldn't call it an rpg but apparently these days it is
