Maybe expectations are tonhigh. I looked up Alan wake 1 and it looks between 2 to 3 million sold. I'm not sure what all that's counting, steam only, 360 steam, Xbox series, ps5. Not really sure. Either way 2 to 3 million isn't bad
Same. It worked for bg3,and numerous others.
I like remedy but this was a bs move on both fronts. No physical no buy. Seems most pc players don't like epic.
And the ones who bought the ps5 version
Sony was the first one to let small publishers have print runs as low as 1,000 copies. How much money you think they make off that?
It adds up, money is money. Profit is profit. So when you say not much to be worth it I disagree
@wes
Your absolutely right. Mods and shit would be cool on some games but most the time I don't wanna deal with pc stuff. I want to hit my button and get rolling
Darth,
You ever hear of those Frankenstein ps3s. I'm personally not sure I could do something like that. Could be a little off but they basically mix parts from a slim into a fat ps3. It said to keep it cooler to prevent overheating and such.
For the moment as far as ps2 aside from my collection since the disc won't work I've just dabbled a bit on the series x dev mode. It's pretty good.
You could just buy new games. Maybe your console confused. Have you seen what releasing new games does to a companies.
When I seen video on this game I thought Holy sht this is gonna be awesome. Then the footage continued and I seen what type of game it was going for. Was so disappointed. Would've loved a gta style game not from Rockstar, like we had back in the day some studios trying. I'm all about being different but a little gta clone idea been cool with.
You missed some great games then. Especially the variety. Ps3 lacked compared to before and after.
It had great games but it lacked compared to every other ps system. The variety went out the window. Game budgets got higher that's when developers stopped taking chances. Indies weren't quite going full speed like the ps4 generation. It's my least favorite of all the Playstation. Also jrpgs disappeared like a mf, there were some but sht compared to previous gens....
I never even thought of that. If I can ever track down a reasonable true backward compatibility one the first thing I'll do is ssd it up.
That's a good point but if they have the talent it may not be needed
That was my first thought. Please no
What though? I can't think of one game they had where I liked anything about it. Atleast since the ps3/360 Gen
I believe the opposite. I feel no physical release hurts it because some would have bought physically just cause. They killed that though. What a dumb decision(ms)
I don't think they were ever the leader tbh. I've never really cared for any of their open world games. I do wanna try watch dogs 2 because it looks like it's set in San Fran. Looked interesting
Any reason why you downvoted me?
For the record 2k is just as guilty. They being boycotted also.
Also I'm not defending the sht and fk ea to. It'd sickening what these companies have done to gaming.
I also don't mess with any of that and if I'm playing sports games I'm playing gm mode or franchise
I wanted to buy it. It's just jrpgs have been busy this year. It's definitely on the list. I also had missed some releases the last few years so I'm back tracking as well on stuff like ys monstrum nux, etc.
Which is pretty good considering a very high percentage of games aren't even available for physical purchase. So physical sales are gimped by default
