I have gamepass and it's straight I won't knock that, but I think more of my issue is alot seem to only use gamepass and there's so much more out there then what ms puts on there. Lol. I remember back 15 years or so ago. I found an atari in the attic. It had a TV cord that didn't hook up to new TVs. I spliced the atari TV cord with a vcr cord and was able to plug it in to the cable input on the TV. It was kinda cool and worked

For the record until I see starfield is trash, as a sony guy id take starfield over spiderman 2. Im just that more into sci fi. That isnt taking away nothing from sony cause they still got games no ones talking about, the final fantasys, legend of heroes(not on xbox) they will no doubt have some japanese games not available to xbox which is huge for me personally, plus I doubt sony has announced everything.

I think your dead wrong. You'd alienate alot of gamers. Some areas especially rural still don't have internet speeds passed dsl. It's not feasible just yet. Plus it's still a pretty viable market.

Idk man I'm still buying physical. From indies to aaa some company is out there doing a physical for it. Plus I be watching amazon and you can get some amazing deals well before the digital has a sale. I do buy digital also but it's only for a really good sale , mostly indies to. I even have some physical and digital like cosmic star heroine. Bought day 1 digital and physical when limited run had some for sale. I never paid much attention. If 30 percent of digital sales are truly coming from phones then it's a bad research. Like you can't get good numbers off that. People can't buy physical media for their phone. It's a tainted number at that point. Same with PC, you can't find physical games all like that these days.
You really have to cut out everything and do it by consoles specifically.

Maybe on xbox cause they don't let smaller publisher publish physical media on their. But switch and ps have exploded in the last 5 to 6 years physically. I've got so many physical games that I never thought would happen despite being slow with delivering limited run games really started something pretty dope. Xbox players wouldn't know because ms has a very high minimum print. So there's still millions of us out there still that prefer it
