The future isn't subscription based. It's an alternative at most. Tell that to the devs that won't take ms phone calls when ms tries to get aaa 3rd party exclusives. They know that game ain't selling. Ms biggest issue is the day one games. When you develop a 200 million dollar game you need to recoup that.

I remember playing vectorman back on genesis and was so damn amazed. Same with superb Mario rpg. Looked so damn good at the time
Some people will tell you how great it is but the simple answer is just NO.
It's been the same thing over and over again. These multi-player games come out and they tell you how good the singleplayer mode can be and it's always whack.
Castlevania souls like could be pretty dope if done right

I didn't care for ff13 but I'd like to give it another shot. I do know it's turn based and linear. In ff13 defense ff10 was also linear.
I personally think last of us is better then God of War. I was never a huge fan. I also think Mario rpg is the best Mario game.
Also don't like elden ring. Played about 10 15 hours.

I'd argue san Andreas over vice city. Just so much more to it. I could be biased though growing up in the 80s and 90s I was into rap music and the 90s the west coast was on top. That game is filled with west coast

Mass effect 1 was great. I feel they dumbed down alot on the 2nd one and seemed more action like. Mass effect 1 the citadel was an explorable city. Far as I got in Mass effect 2 it was reduced to a location list no traveling through it. I disliked it alot(the citadel) part. I also feel they went more action oriented then rpg
