Nope. Consoles will be here for awhile. I'm glad. I don't like the hassle pc can give you. I donuse steam and hook it up to my TV with a controller but it won't replace my console

No one wants to use the cloud lol. When I get an option to stream or download I'm picking download 100 percent of the time.

You can't compare the two. Rpg vs action. I would've bought starfield on ps5 , I've not much interest in Spiderman. I'm an rpg guy. I've been in the middle of games and just had an itch for an rpg , I'll drop it to start one up. I'm not saying Spiderman 2 isn't a huge release cause it is but it's not everyone's cup

I don't think console gaming will ever be replaced by mobile. I think mobile is successful because about everyone and there mom has a cell phone.
I have my phone in me at all times and don't play games. My position at work, I'm constantly being text or called about something. I'll usually call my girl or come on n4g on breaks. Never really thought about playing a cell phone game. I did talk up xcom 2 to a guy at work. He did. Liked it so much he bought it on sale for Xbox to. Dudes mid 20s so maybe it is an age thing.?

There's all kinds of new things out there. Indie through aaa. I mean yea they don't take chances like they used to back in the day but some still do. Capcom did exoprimal(close enough) not my cup of tea (online) but just an example. Square did a handful recently, it's the eas and ubisofts that don't take chances

Would it of been that difficult for them to allow save transfers and people fresh starts. I feel numerous games have done it. Didn't mass effect, knightoffelemia mentioned trails games, I know there's been a few others.
I'm still really really looking forward to rebirth, so it's not a deal breaker just would've been nice. They still have time maybe ? Hopefully they have a change of heart on the saves
