This article suggests that the standard for current high end gaming PC's is 1080p 30FPS, when actually it's 1080p or 1440p (2K) at 60FPS to 144FPS.
Show, don't tell, Ubisoft.
GeForce Experience is the only program on my computer that I've ever actually had to roll back (because of the software, not the driver). It's had all kinds of annoying bugs and routinely breaks completely. On top of that, every time it decides to update (again, just speaking of the software) it forgets all my custom control panel settings.
SOMA is the closest thing we've got to System Shock 2 in terms of atmosphere. So in that sense, you really don't want to pass SOMA up if you're a fan of the 'Shock' series.
I'm hoping for another price drop on the entire series. I still think the 970 and 980 have really awkward price points.
The first PlayStation game that really grabbed me and blew my mind was Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. Then a few months later Metal Gear Solid came out, which was a big turning point for me. I bought every PS console after that due to MGS exclusivity.
Man, I love high population Metro rounds. Those chokepoints are intense with 32 players on each side.
Horror at the thought of DX12 becoming AMD exclusive.
Finally a realistically affordable "future proof" card from NVIDIA. Probably going to upgrade my 770 when this either goes on sale or when it causes the original 980's price to drop.
@GMR_PR
With a name like GMR_PR you should know full well that running a business isn't only about maximizing profits, it's also about maintaining a good public image. Take into account all the recent PR blunders from Konami; it's been a circus like spectacle, they've been at the top of the news headlines for months with nothing but negative press. So calling them clowns is really not that out of line.
@hroach616
>Calls someone out for using poor grammar.
>Also uses poor grammar while calling them out.
"It's really hard to take anything your [sic] saying seriously with your spelling and grammar. How is it that bad? Everything has auto correct these day's [sic]. It doesn't even make sence [sic]."
They own the Fear Effect IP now, so I'd like to finally see a third game in the series get finished. Or a reboot would be cool at this point.
In most cases Valve wouldn't even get to choose the date and time of their presentation, that would be up to the committee planning and scheduling the event.
I hope this comes to Steam also, Tomb Raider 2013 was a great benchmark game for my 770.
It should be live now. I played a bit on PC earlier this morning.
Still waiting for an 8GB 900 series card to hit the market... It should help with all these lazy PC ports.
Happened to me with my first 360. I got the console, but in place of the wireless controller there was a bag of sand... :-/ The manager at Walmart didn't believe me and I had already spent hours trying to sort it out before giving up. I don't have time to get into contact with my local news agencies, so my point is; this happens often, we just don't always hear about it.
For some reason Chrome thinks DualShockers is a malware site.
Final Fantasy XIII was a generation long disappointment, no need to drag it out any further.
The price comes as such a surprise because Palmer Luckey himself has said that it would be between $200 and $400. Just in October he said it would be upwards of $350 but still within that ballpark. He also said that the Facebook acquisition would help subsidize the final product.
I think they're taking advantage of the fact that the Vive is delayed until mid 2016, and PSVR is TBA. I'd expect a price drop around the time HTC starts hyping up their release, but right no...
