I love no man's sky and have 23 hours at this point and I tell everyone who asks that it's not worth $60. It doesn't have enough content to warrant the price. They're are games with half the cost and 4 times the content (ark) that deserve more money but charge fairly. Still love the game, ,
For those of you siding with the devs on this, this was written by one of the two devs in the article - http://www.puppygames.net/b... For those who don't want to read it essentially says that their fans are only worth a dollar to them because that's how much they pay for their games. You can't go around insulting your fanbase by saying they're worth a dollar and then turning around and complaining that thos...

Nier was without a doubt one of the best games I've played in a LONG time, VERY underrated.
Portal 2 was dropped to $35 on Amazon after only a few weeks and that game was phenomenal, so what's your point?
The real question is - Would you care if "journalists" stopped writing idiotic articles in hopes of getting more hits? My answer is - No.
Aside from the fact that the RRoD was caused by Microsoft's personal choice of rushing their system out the doors to be first - and in the end screwing over many consumers who bought into their system - and Playstation Network being down because of attacking Sony being the "cool" thing to do. Also, the PSN being down for a little over a week is nothing compared to the huge failure rate on the 360's that existed for years.
If Sony didn't take action against him then this could be a WHOLE lot worse right now. The second that hack was put on the internet (via geohot) this was an accident waiting to happen. If they had not brought him to court and he was still able to work on his hacks for the PS3 right now there is a really good chance that there would have been even more of this happening, and sooner as well.
Ah, thanks. Didn't know that they had officially said anything pertaining to the shutdown.
Serious question, is there actually an official report from Sony as to why the PSN is down? I've heard hackers, the incident in Japan and to prevent credit card theft but those reasons are all over the place.
Anyway, I don't think Sony needs to give reimbursements aside from the p2p games that the people above listed. But I am sure Sony will throw something to everyone just because.
Me: "Anonymous is a group of trolls"
Anonymous went from having a least a plausible reason for doing the things they were doing, but ever the since Geohot threw away that court case they are now looking 100 times stupider for continuing this.
Can't wait until after this protest ends and they release another video - "That protest was just a test, this time we really are going to have a large protest. No, seriously. We REALLY are going to this time."
Off topic - I really wish all that all multiplatform developers would use the PS3 as the lead platform, not because of fanboyism either. Games that go from 360 -> PS3 have some pretty noticeable differences where as the other way around doesn't really have many obvious problems.
On topic - I'll possibly check the game out. Most movie-games tend to be terrible but I thought X-men Origins was pretty good, maybe this will be the same.
I think it is probably just going to be a late April Fool's of sorts. Everyone has already stated good reasons as to why it wouldn't be this, that or the other thing. Although I would say the early release on steam is the most plausible out of the group of things that might happen. Or maybe they will release an even bigger incentive to preorder Portal 2 so they can rope in some people at the last minute who might have been on the fence (for whatever reason). Such as a special preview ...
I really just hope he hacks the ps3 again so that Sony can just finish him already. Doubt his "loyal subjects" will be able to raise enough money to get him out of those fines.
Never heard that before.

Ah, the gameplay videos of Portal 2 threw me off with Wheatley because he is always seen in the air, didn't noticed that he was always attached to something.
From what I understand about Portal 2, the single player and co op stories are completely separate. So I believe in the single player you will be playing solo without a second character because you will have the flying robot (not sure his name) helping you out. Whereas in the coop you will have a second character being necessary to help you out that will always be played by a player.
Thanks for the reply, sounds great considering I wanted Resistance 2 to come with campaign co op, and even better that they decided to add the leveling.
To each their own, I've played every fallout from 1 to now and 4 is my favorite game. It lost some things from the series and got things the old games never had.
