I guess they are taking the old "Need for Speed" road. Where they add a chick and promote the game with her all over the place.
Everyone here knows this game is obviously going to be a "soap opera mixed with gameplay elements".
But, yet, the fanbase for the series is stupidly big that just the fanbase alone would probably make this game very sucessful. Just think how many people have already bought those spin offs for the DS and PSP. Just think how many people bought-again- the "updated" original Final Fantasy games on the DS.
This game doesn't attract me one bit. The gam...
Glitchy? yes.
Boring missions? no. But I do admit some are frustrating that takes you a cupple of tries to complete it.
Boring story? Nah. The story is more or so like an extended episode of GTA series, like Liberty City stories/Vice city stories.
If you played the first original and enjoyed it, you'll like this game. My honest opinion, this game is mostly made for the fans. People that know what already to expect of the game.
This does look like a god damn soap opera.
Disappointed, indeed.
I just keep hitting x until it eventually syncs the trophies. But what really annoys me the most is that i have to literally unplug my PS3slim so it can detect my three sixaxis controllers.
I've tried to play Tekken DR and Gran Turismo and none of them let me play any type of game. Everytime i'm about to to start a fight or a race, the game instantly says "disconnected" then oddly enough, Adhoc party freezes and then it also says "Lost Connection". While this happens, I am still connected to PSN. I only loose connection in Adhoc party.
I am surely disappointed with this. Very glitchy.
PSP failed in the sense of selling games, because the piracy on it is down right awful. But, people are mostly buying the PSP to play games BESIDES PSP games on it.
I am enjoying the game, I truly love the fact that the whole game has voice actors and the gameplay transition from the console version was transfered quite well to the psp.
I recently downloaded it from psn. I honestly think it's a good game. I wasn't expecting much out of it, especially knowing how ubisoft is with their games. But, from what I've played, it's pretty much a direct port from the first Assassin's creed. All the weapons, moves and fluid animation is there but with a new story.
I recommend it for someone who wants a good action adventure game.
This is pretty much the same reason I didn't get NGs:2. Yeah, sure, it had more content over the 360 version but the gore was tone down. So, I pretty much lost interest of the game.
If the same fate happen to the american ps3 version, then screw it .
That kid who has air powers, that movie is called "The Last Airbender".
See, this is the reason why the PSP isn't getting much support from 3rd Party developers.
I hate the fact that people like him ruin other people's joy. Sure, it makes the user have the ability to play other games from other systems, but what if that same user wants to play some games designed for the PSP specifically? But, unfortunately, they can't because no one is buying the games, so the developers just don't see the point in creating a game that they wont get any benefit f...
Honestly, what Need for Speed Shift did was revolutionary to the simulation genre. Meaning, they actually sat down and thought about on how to improve this genre by means of feed back, rather than graphics and amount of tracks.
Forza 3 and GT5 may look pretty, act like their real life counterparts; but both games still feel stale and boring. I honestly feel like, I buy a racing game to race not to see how it feels likes on a track. So, I want to get more involved with the race...
If sony sold this for 175dollars.
I would of instantly bought it. But 250?
Naaaaaaaaa
6 hours and 45 minutes.
I couldn't even make it 7 hours, I had such a headache by that time... :(
I wasted it buying U2, NFS:S, and D2..
Eh, i wouldn't go that far...
I don't know but I enjoyed gran turismo psp more than this game. There's something about driving a bugatti veyron on nurburgring that captures my attention.
I can't believe they didn't added Rome into the game.
I wanted to visit those ancient ruins that the roman empire was at and such.
