5 years ago, the PS3 was the most powerful system. Now, we have computers that would make the PS3 poop out NGP's out of fear.
Anyway, It's nice owning a powerful PC...when there's games that take advantage of it. Right now, there's what? Crysis and a bunch of mediocre games or ported games that people just mod the crap out of it (like GTAIV).

According to Wikipedia, Sony is also a company that manufactures new battery technology, so in other words, they invent batteries. So, I wouldn't worry about Battery life, a year ago, they were more concerned about over heating issues than anything else.
So, if anything, they already have the over heating and battery issues pretty much fixed. They're just tinkering the bugs out and seeing what else they can do with it.

If I remember right, he ported that in a very short amount of time. So, in other words, with a short time he had amazing results. Now, imagine how would a game would look like if he had more time and resources?

Uhm, that article is practically comparing apples and oranges.
They're just too damn different to actually compete with each other. If anything, the NGP is about how well it appeals the general market and how sony will actually be smart and support it in an intelligent way. Not like how they did with the PSP and ignore all the hacking, all the piracy and complaints in how it lacked a great deal of 3rd party support.
