Yes this is why I bought a vita to play mobile cell phone games and jrpg that really take advantage of the hardware.I hope my battery doesn't melt from running these types of games.Sony was so nice to drop support to give other devs a chance at the vita.This is exactly how I imagined vita to be when I purchased it kudos to Sony I'm so glad it's not a pocket ps3 Anymore, since mobile cellphone quality is just where it's at right now for mobile gaming
You don't worry on pc either unless you want the latest and greatest. I mean look at black ops 3 on ps3 and 360 it still runs but just not as good, ps4 and x1 will suffer the same fate.People upgrade their pc to run games at higher settings, they could just not upgrade and be stuck with 1080p700por whatever the choice is yours on Pesonal Computer Gaming

The difference is minimal to the point your asking people to compare, we didn't have to compare ps2 and ps 1 because the diffrence was drastic neither did we have to compare ps2 to ps3. Ps4 and X1 or just the remasterd versions of of their predecessors!!!

I've had almost every playstation, psone,ps2,psp,ps3 and wait for it..... ps vita. I didn't get Ps4 because I didn't see a big leap like the previous (consoles) showed every generation .I was disappointed and what made matters really worse is how ps vita is being treated as a streaming device that plays 2d jrpg games, like wtf the vita power isn't being utilized, and not only that Sony decided to drop support for the vita and they didn't stop there they also took away dev...
That's right I remember getting a ps2 right after having a Dreamast and I was like yuck ps2 graphics looked so dry and grainy compared to dreamcast.Dreamcast games looked so smooth and vibrant, I wish it would have lasted longer so we could see what it was really capable of.
So in reality the ps4 is not backward's competiable, it's just ports again and again
