super smashed...you know when halo 3, came out and the x360 sold nearly half a million consoles, it was the wii that really surprised me, in what was the biggest 'entertainment launch ever' wii still sold more consoles then the competition...now I'm no wii fan, but its the wii's hay day now so credit where it's due...

you're forgetting the boost that may come with certain games, we;ve heard ps3 games to death, vg charts doesn't reflect them at all, but with x360, it should reflect with gears of war 2. And don't forget christmas when sales double in november and then november sales double in December...and just so you know, sony europe have said that they predict to takeover the x360 in europe in the summer...
actually, for europe vg charts doesn't have GTp as million seller, its counting in jap/euro.others all together to make it pass one million. but yeh I seen sony exec reports of 1 million preorders..and investigated it..only third party websites not direct qoutes...why wouldn't sony be boasting about it, like with a number of other titles...and yeh I reckon, a lot more didn't get counted, purely because no download figures have been release...sony should really list those, see how high or low,...
interesting that you took the other software out when you took mario kart out..also this isn't downloads, so actually, xbox live/psn are probably at least on par or doing much much better then the wii..and it's kind of unfair to compare platform software sales on the week of its (wii's) biggest exclusive...lets look a few weeks back at gt5 prolouge, or actually since your comparing wii to 360/ps3 sales, come back to me in two weeks time, when the year's biggest game comes out on the x360/ps3 ...
actually, the wii is increasing it's lead globally...so yes the ps3 is doing far better then last year, but it's still a distant second, I reckon the software/hardware sales will rise like hell fire by this time next year...I don't think it's really the price, cause I can't see a bundle anywhere close to me that puts the wii at less then the price of ps3...damn those bundles...

millions?, I didn't realize they ever proved it was millions, but even if it were a million, ps2 over 120 million, makes that a failure rate of 1.2%, thats unfair on customers but that's also within error margins, surely...
feb? this data is just too raw..they should do one where only the best 20/30 games get counted...that way we'd get rid of stupid crap-ish games that are distorting the picture...that way we'd really see how good end of last year was...
that error comes up when there's a problem with your connection not your ps3...check the internet connection to the ps3...
