The thing is this COSMETICALLY can be mistaken be mistaken for the Horizon games. Games like Dante's Inferno were not exact replicas of God of War in the same way Light of Motiram just looks identical to Horizon. It's uncanny.
I really would love an honest to God Ni No Kuni 3, but that shitshow mobile game is all we might get.
This could have gotten them votes 20-30 years ago, but now it will just get them fewer endorsements.
Yeah, not even their own developers a few years ago agreed with their marketing schemes. Anything they say is a fish dying out of water soon.
You say this like it is that easy and you are Microsoft's holy declaration or something.
Persona 5 and its re-releases, Shin Megamit Tensei V, and Metaphor are all standout examples as well. I don't know what the sales for the latter 2 were, but they were critically-acclaimed. Granted, they were also all released by 1 studio, but you get what I mean. Your examples count as well.
If only 2007 N4G Xbots could see this, lmao...
...Is that Kson Onair? I know she is a huge Yakuza fan.
The only person worthy of this honor that I can think of Hideo Kojima. That man pushed storytelling in video gaming like no one else at the time had, and there was always a story beat you could never afford to miss.
Okay, and? I imagine someone so heavily involved in a large game's development would put this much time into it, if not more. In reality, there's probably not a square inch he hasn't seen ten times.
It's not their backbone anymore as they have since put it to rest, albeit it may have been their biggest thundering success at the time. I don't know if it surpassed Crash Bandicoot in overall popularity, but it sure felt like it back then.
When people who need to touch grass finally do so and think their online self is their real self.
"Gaming is a disappointment by the internet's contradicting standards. This will not change."
I did not read the article, but with the way commentators are, somebody might as well write this.
Yeah, funny thing is, there are articles talking about how even just a fraction of this strategy has been shooting them in the foot.
This may be the wrong article to ask this on, but I genuinely have a question: is Metal Gear Solid Delta really set to just be the same game, but just with a graphics overhaul? I read somewhere they were just going to reuse Metal Gear Solid 3's dialogue and soundbites, but I want to know if this has been confirmed or anything...
Here's what I do: you may consider this scummy, but in order to protect myself, I go on Youtube and click on FFXVI videos with large viewer counts and upvotes and dislike them. I don't do this to newer videos where this will have an effect, but quickly peering into these videos and downvoting them tells the algorithm more and more each time you do this that you don't like this content. At. All. Again, I only do this for popular videos since I don't wanna fuck over smaller cont...
I'm not sure how much pain Playstation fans were in when Halo was a genre-defining exclusive, so is there a reason why this will be any different?
...Where was this question since the first discussions of the M and A ratings?
I love how N4G commenters really like to convince you that they know everything about how an entire console generation will go because of one showcase or announcement or game. And how every time I read a declarative statement, it turns out to be wrong.
People are already decided on whether or not they want this game. I highly doubt one week of guaranteed streaming will move too many people, lol.
