Um I see everyone arguing in the comments but you've all forgot the reason it really floundered on launch cause I saw no one bring it up. Force hardware (kinects), 100$ more expensive but weaker, required internet check in to game(every 24hrs) and DRM used game fee crap. The positioning of it as a cable box was due to the failed deal with Comcast and their X1 affinity service. How quickly people forget.

No it's not console gamers don't want to be PC gamers if they did they would own a damn PC why is this so hard to understand? I have friends who made the switch and they are back why? Because none of us, their friends, moved with them. People who want to game on a PC do those that dont, dont. Not complicated at all.

Listen phuck stick people have been playing it on consoles for a few months now the fact its closed or open beta is irrelevant asshat its been on console for a while I've been playing it on my PS4 for the last 2 months.....so yeah it's on console and has been for a while. DLC is fine as long as its developed after the main game raps not stripped out of the game and sold back like ME3 day one DLC or destiny DLCs have been. I had an awesome DLC, ME2 had good DLC and DLC is away devs and pubs can make extra money after the sale of a game instead of bullshit BO4 ridicules for 1$ or 2$ but game extending worth while events and missions, extensions to the story. Those are all acceptable versions of DLC.
I don't see MS having any games ready for 2019 outside of more emulated stuff. Sony is killing E3 and probably going to announce PS5 if that happens I see Sony having a good year. They also have Days Gone supposedly coming out maybe LoU2 and Ghost at some point but they don't have a lot coming either honestly. It's a toss up I think.

My nephew unfortunately lives with two parents who believe its fine to raise two kids on 24k a year so he doesn't get a lot of games and they won't let him work because they won't be able to claim him at tax time. I get him games when I can but if there is something he really wants but knows he won't get it right away he watches people stream it then once he gets it he still plays it but generally he already has seen the whole game.
