Absolutely correct too much of the original talent responsible for those past successes are now gone. Sadly this has happened I every studio EA gobbles up, the dev will release a game that was development before EA bought them it will be good but every game immediately after that gets worse and worse as EA squeezes every ounce of creativity out of the group and pushes more corporate bullshit in its place making them paint by numbers instead of Picasso.
I thought the same thing if you haven't bought into this gen already you'd be better off saving your money and waiting for next gen to start as this gen is coming to a close buying in now would be just dumb I think.

Actually that's the reason most people love the series...so yeah it is welcomed.
