It's not overkill if you're going for authentic representation of a pretty important moment in a countries history. It also shows the awesome level of detail suckerpunch went to to breath life into the game lastly as someone who actually does kenjutsu it's great to see a devs spend time to include something so important lots of them get Noto down but rarely even see Chiburi hell it's rare to see it in movies.

Jesus we had these articles 7yrs ago with the jump from PS3 to PS4 we made it then and we will make it now and the games will be great just like they have been.

Mmm I don't think you understand PC to console games......consoles being closed get way more optimization unlike PC that's why consoles generally are able to preform better with weaker hardware than you could on a PC if your statement was about PC solely I'd agree but as we actually haven't actually seen third party titles in the wild for both platforms we can't really say anything about xbonx to Ps5.
Um disabling SMT on the xbonex technically boosts the CPU clocks a small amount so I guess you could call that overclock maybe....🤷♂️
You are actually missing a big problem it and other streaming services have, they're for people on the go who aren't home or don't have time to sit down in one place and game for an HR or so. The switch, stadia, PS4 remote play, xcloud and Psnow they are all made with the idea of people too busy to have time to game cause they constantly are on the move and want/need to take gaming mobile but doesnt want to compromise on graphics and game play which is a great idea but ultimately ...
The pricing model is/was rediculious. Streaming services will not be the normal for many more years and I don't understand people who think they will or even want them. I've tried them all and they always have some pretty bid problems.
