Only one of them is an online issue (and only is if you have friends you would like to play with at that) and that is with the party invites. However the workaround is painless and even if you get disconnected with the party leader (unless it is a big party), it's not that big a deal. All you do is not accept the invite, sign-out/sign-in in the in-game xmb, then accept the invite and you are in. Woke up to that this morning, what a downer after all the fun last night. So the update worked for me (I'm getting all my trophies now; already had some from first playthrough playing offline sans the update), but for some reason, I can't sync my trophies still at all. I don't get an error code like I did with 1.01 (after first playthrough, I applied patch to both play multi online and also see if I could sync the trophies but got the error), but it stalls at 92% or so and never completes. In hindsight, that was quite a dumb@ss question on my part. Can't believe I actually didn't think that through. Or is it universal taking place at the GMT time? If its universally done at the same exact time, this means West Coast is from 12am-3am, East Coast is 3-6am if I'm not mistaken.
Being from West Coast and going to get the game at midnight launch, I find the time they chose to do it rather amusing. That is of course unless it is 8am-11am for all timezones.

I find this very disturbing. Yes the graphics are amazing, but all I can think about is how attached to her character we will be by that point in the game and how much the makers of the game have emphasized that it is going to be an emotional roller coaster to play, the gamer will have a deep caring for the characters and that tough choices in the game will emotionally affect the gamer (at least this is what they are gunning for from what I've read).

Actually you can play vs bots in local splitscreen. Just go to Edit Game Options and Add Enemies. They added bots to local spl scr with a patch update. You can now play with 3 other friends 2 on 2 and have bots fill out the rest of the squads. It only works for TDM and FFA like in Combat Training, but unlike CT, it only does up to 5 vs 5 max for some reason. No leveling up though like CT or online, everything's unlocked and Pro.
