this news is so huge, I couldn't give a damn f about multi platform or whatever. We should be more concerned about whats going to happen to Bioware or Pandemic.
Bioware already has something cooking for PS3. Mass Effect trilogy is being published by MS. So maybe Mass Effect 4 and so on will go multi platform(probably PS4 and Xbox 720?). I just hope EA doesn't absorb Bioware like a giant amoeba, rather let them be their own and only publish games.
next thing I guess Jaffe is going to make retarded sh!t about Half Life. BTW Gabe wont change his opinion even if PS3 sells like PS2. He, Carmack and devs like them can afford to be open with their opinions unlike most other developers.

MS says DX10 only works with Vista driver model but who knows its probably just more marketing BS. I just hope Crytek as promised makes Vista performance on par with XP when the game releases.

it looks like "Very High" is restricted to DX10. Also almost the all the DX10 "extras" are kind of doable in DX9 but DX10 does it much more efficiently. That has been one of the main selling points of DX10.

yeah its doubtful Remedy will make MP3 if its coming next year, they made Max Payne what it is now(I think the same guy who wrote the script for MP is working on Alan Wake too) so I was just wishing they would make MP3 rather than anyone else.

this is total BS, every interview I have seen, for highest quality you need Vista and DX10. And in recent gamespot interview Yerli said DX10 on Vista will perform better than DX9(on the same settings, eg high)

1/10 of the PC market is big in comparison to current consoles because PC market is huge.
CryEngine 2 wasn't even marketed(especially the console versions) in the same level as UE3. So in no way its a huge blow to Crytek, UE3 was shown sometime during end of 2004(working on 2 6800Ultras). Besides Crytek is relatively a new kid on the block, Epic has been here since 1998.
Far Cry 2 will be a good game seeing the previews but its too damn early to predict sales for...
kind of like that huge galactic amoeba in old Star Trek.
