No, the developers themselves have even stated it's a remaster numerous times. It should be a remake, but it's not it's a remaster.
As someone who has played all the PS1 games, I disagree. This is the perfect remaster; they kept everything true to the originals, but just upped the graphics and even added a few new features.
Ignore him. Yes, there are DLC weapons, but it doesn't ruin the balance of the game. The majority of the players I've encountered still use the vanilla weapons.
If they're less relevant, then why don't you give us AAA games on PS Plus rather than indies all the time then.
That awkward moment when Sony showed like 2 indies, the rest being AAA games, while Microsoft's whole conference relied on indie games..
Really disappointing conference. 80% indies, and the rest being Forza and Sea of Thieves. Anthem looks amazing though.

I never had a 360. If it weren't for BC I would have never played such gems like Alan Wake, Gears of War and Halo on my Xbox One.
Well done to VV for this remaster, it's literally perfect. It's just like how I remembered this game, but obviously with the awesome graphical improvements. The fact they even went to Naughty Dog before showing the game to the public to hear their opinion first just shows they really care about this remaster.
You can enhance the appeal of PS Plus by actually giving us AAA games like XBL Gold does.

Shame, I wanted more Halo. Really disliked the story of Halo 5 though. Halo 4 was good.
The story may well be good, but many hated the multiplayer of IW from the beta; paying an extra $30 for the Legacy edition just isn't worth it for the 4-5 hour campaign. I and many others would much rather just get COD4 on its own.
I don't think the author gets the fact that people want boots on ground only, and we're not going to pay $60 for the legacy edition, just to get that with COD4. A lot of us are waiting until COD4 is released separately. I'd rather pay ~$30 just for COD4 than $60 with Infinite Warfare that I'll never play
Just give me more Chief and less Locke, I hated how I only played as Chief for like 3-4 missions.

I agree. I have a feeling they're going to kill off Markus, so they can continue the new trilogy with the new main characters. I nearly lost my shit at start of GoW4 when I thought Markus died lol.
