I’m completely fine with a no optical disc model but they missed the mark. Ideally the Xbox team should have used the Xbox One X hardware and priced it at $299. Given it’s the Xbox One S hardware $199 should have been the starting price with $150 sales during the holidays.
Break even or take a slight loss on the hardware for the services, games and media sales.
Now if we could get Konami back in the game. Starting off with a quality 2D Castlevania using the Switch as a baseline and then offering it across Xbox, Playstation and PC with improved graphics/resolution.
Why not both?
Sounds good to me for the the type of game it is.
I find it funny that people seem to think a game that’s deep and engaging cannot also be pickup and play accessible.
Most of the “problems” so far like limited fast travel locations, losing your loadout, etc. could be addressed in future patches while preserving the core integrity of the game. It will be interesting to see how Rockstar responds to some of the player criticism.
No game is perfect, even if reviewers hand perfect scores.
The clunky controls, weapon loadout resets and slow pacing are starting to test my patience. Rockstar has made an incredibly detailed world but all that is for nothing if it isn’t fun to pickup and play.
Remember at the end of the day it’s a game not a reality simulator...

I’m down with more free content. Thanks Nintendo!
Make good games and make a profit! Other studios and publishers should take note.
After playing the demo I’m disappointed Sega didn’t take the time to offer proper PS4 Pro support given it’s a PlayStation exclusive. I’m still looking forward to playing through the whole game!
EC3 would be Top 1% DLC.
Is SFV AE ever going to get proper PS4 Pro support?
Yeah they really need to get online play sorted out by having a unified system that’s user friendly across all titles.
Does the Switch have the same cooling as the Shield? Hey might not be able to for thermal reasons.
Yeah not every game needs RPG level grind to unlock items you technically already paid for. I don’t mind people having the option to pay a small fee to unlock things immediately, but the grind for those of us who don’t want to pay should be reasonable.
I hope all games supporting HDR adopt GT Sports calibration process as it’s very well done and can help you dial in a great picture!
I can’t believe moves are DLC is what is essentially a 3D fighter. It’s like they’re trying beat Capcom in who can nickle and dime fighting game customers the most!
I liked the Prime games and hope they eventually bring the 2D Metroid to Switch.
