mgs4 sold very well because kojima and konami was touring around the world promoting the game weeks before it was released. i think sony should do the same..
this game is going to be slaughtered in the reviews. gameradar has already started and 1up, they are definitely going to give this game a C-, they are the most biased reviewers of all, they don't even like the MP beta...
