Considering the most trusted source in gaming tech — Digital Foundry — reckons the pace at which chipsets are created will make this console generation as long, if not longer, than the last... why is anyone writing articles on PS5 speculation? It's all nonsense.
Is this a serious question?
The answer is: "No."
"Sony is basically all-in when it comes to PlayStation. Microsoft isn't; it has so many other things going on that Sony can't even compete or touch."
Yes -- right now, Sony simply can't compete nor touch Microsoft in the console gaming space. That is obvious by the sales and success of the PlayStation platform.
I think there are both very obvious similarities and differences. I also think both games are fantastic, visually and mechanically. I like what EA DICE is doing, and I hope they keep doing it.
Poorly written with a serious lack of information and proofreading. No mention of Fog of War. No source.
Story of my CoD career.
As someone who plays mostly on Sony platforms, I sincerely root for the success of Xbox, as to promote competition and keep Sony in check. We all remember what it was like when they became arrogant -- the "get a second job" days.
Massive sites like IGN regularly slaughter games from their advertisers, and advertisers will always advertise with them because they -- like you said -- get the most views.
This looks like a great time to get an original Xbox One.
That's not how it works at any reputable website.
From a marketing perspective, I would agree.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but more Xbox Ones were sold in NA than PS4s in the last three months. Am I mistaken? @Errorist76 @stuna1
I remember an ad a while back claiming Xbox had the best exclusives, and it featured Assassin's Creed (or some other multi-platform title).
Also goes to show how important the launch is. If you're a consumer and all of your friends bought PS4s at launch, you're probably going to buy a PS4.
All aboard!
Me neither!
They've done a pretty good job playing catch up the past handful of months. I'm interested to see how things go this holiday season.
It's certainly a sound marketing strategy.
Agreed -- it's a steal. Sometimes it goes on sale for $1.99. It might even be that price right now, actually.
