I highly doubt that being that their philosophy is about being "open". That doesn't say much on its own but the fact that this thing can be modded and hacked so easily will turn away any major company.
Not only that but most major companies are desperately TRYING to have a marketplace like this will have. Sony's PS Suite is an attempt to appeal to this sort of market.
@ShinMaster
What a blatantly stupid, moronic and borderline retarted statement. You do realize that this is going to inspire many independent developers to actually MAKE THEIR GAMES. You do realize that Minecraft (which, you know, is pretty friggin big) was made by an independent developer, right? You do know how popular it is, right? That being said, you do realize how idiotic your statement was, right?
Seriously, you need to grow up if you think that game d...
If they don't include Sora as a playable character I will rage with all of my Kingdom Hearts fanboy fury.
Try me.
This is very disappointing. Last week during the Summer Sales the Sony employee who was responding to the comments was saying how he would relay all the requests for Vita/PSP Sales to the 'higher-ups.' Either he never relayed our desires or the higher-ups simply don't care because this is another disappointing week for the Vita.
Sure, there's the Atlus sale and I'm truly grateful for that but Sony better not be using that sale as leverage for not providing...
Sora from Kingdom Hearts. Make this happen and I'll be an incredibly happy man, it would induce incredible nostalgia for me.
I hope that with the Monster Hunter Unite sale on PSN (it's in the US for sure, I don't know about other regions though) a lot of Digital sales are made so that it's apparent to Sony that there is definitely a market in the US (and possibly other territories) for Monster Hunter outside of Japan.
Have you tried Dragon's Dogma? It's another great game that is actually very well done and is very reminiscent of the Soul's series.
On topic though, I'm looking forward to see what this DLC will have going on. I wish they were doing something like Shivering Isles... that DLC was the most amazing DLC I've ever played, not really because of the story but because of the art style (the World of Mania was incredibly vibrant).
"To think that OUYA is a threat to consoles is a statement like saying, an ant is a threat to a dinosaur."
That's a dumb statement considering that Sony's trying to appeal to this market of indie developers with PS Suite, and Microsoft tried (and had some success) with their Indie arcade. I haven't been following Nintendo but if they haven't already attempted at following suit then I'd be surprised by how far they've let themselves fall behin...
