It's not the price increase the main problem. It's the removal of day one releases for console users while PC user are safe (for now). It's a weird message being send to console fan ( "You should have bought a PC bro !)

There is no (real) proof of this. Except for Phil Spencer, who says so without offering any proof either.
The truth lies more in the fact that Series consoles don't sell well, and publishers look twice before releasing a game. Especially since Gamepass has drastically changed consumer habits on this medium (including my own).
