although it die hard 4 was a good film, the lack of blood in the movie is what made it pg-13.
In the case of of gears movie, i would MUCH rather see tons of blood and chainsaws, than big helicopter explosions, car chases, and the mentioning of 1/2 of a curse word.

i love the character animations in Bad Company. even the subtle movements convey alot about the characters emotions. like the guys nervousness. you dont see that in alot in games. its actually very impressive

i agree though, given the setting, i believe it should be emotionally provocative.
they need an excellent storyline though, maybe just follow one single character and his journey, instead of taking little dips into several different people. that way we could form more of an emotional bond with the character.

i think this will probably (maybe hopefully) be the last WWII game we see from the cod series.
the reason being that the series was being developed by two separate studios, Treyarch and Infinity Ward.
since infinity ward was working on cod4, it only makes sense that treyarch was working simultaneously on cod5, and given the release time, could not scrap all their development based on the recent success of its sister game.
