As long as there are people who want a pick up and play TV experience, there will always be consoles.
I STRONGLY disagree. Metacritic has given players a chance to see reviews of games that people have played, especially when critic reviews are held back until after release day (ie. The Sims 4, Destiny, Final Fantasy XIV: Version 1.0) The negative reviews are rightly so. People can complain about it. If something is terrible gamer's have a voice. That voice is MetaCritic. I use it all of the time to hear about how terrible, or GREAT games are. Just look at The Last of Us: Remastered. Almo...

Xbox owners have such low self-esteem, it's sad.
It should have released on both, honestly. There's probably another half a million or so that would have bought it on PS4. Their loss, I guess.

I'm noticing better lighting, aliasing, and frame rate jumps. It's very noticeable, and proves that a new generation was needed, especially when you compare to PC.
I know PC will always get new cards, and encourage the PC fanboy "master race" status, but I happen to own a PC (who doesn't?) but I mostly game on a console. A. because other people like to play with me. B. Because a lot of my favorite franchises have not been made for the PC in a long time....
I use my Vita more often than not, now that the TV is almost always taken when I want to play. PS4 to Vita stream is quite impressive. I've only noticed a few hiccups, if I'm in another room, playing, but next to the TV it is virtually impossible to notice the difference. The controls on the other hand are hard to get used to.
