They could release an enhanced (Definitive Edition) of SFV and still committing their promise of one disc to play SFV, SFV sold poorly and if they make the Arcade Mode and release the complete story mode they could retry to sell the game like that.

If you were expecting a demo nothing in comparison to the real game, your were expecting a bad demo. Demos are suppose to let you expirience a little bit of the game before you buy it. This platinum demo is weak I will save my 60$ for Persona 5 or YS8.

MGSVTPP sadly is a game that is very difficult to connect to the story and feel something about it,those extra missions getting in the middle of the story and the "open" world experience is crap.
Ground Zeroes was a better MGS than The Phantom Pain, Konami obviously was trying to sell this games into chapters and maybe that was part of the problem with Kojima.
An expansion pack is different to try to sell us a ps4.5 or xbox 1.5, the expansion pack was already design to be part of the N64.I supported the ps4 day 1 that would be a waste of money for those that are buying the current ps4 in this month.

They could just release a digital version for them and a year later they could release the damn full game on disc and update the digital versions of it is simple why this CEO's are so brainless this days.
