I so still would have wanted a true sequel in which i imported my character with all my stats and weapons..that would have been even more awesome, but im still psyched for this version

I personally thought the FF13 battle system was brilliant and challengingly fun.
so long as nintendo sells the premise that any Nintendo product is a family product then no, competition will never hurt the sales of any system made by Nintendo in this case the 3DS.
personally I couldnt stand that the run button was X on a FPS..it just bugged me the entire time when i was playing it

I think that hurt them in sales too (talking shit about sony,making them seem like they were making excuses for the sales/perfromance of the game). since, sure there are those who play games to just play and never really follow the politics/news but then there are those of us on here for example who do follow and I feel i can speak for allot of us that we were disgusted from what they were saying that ultimately made us ignore the game.
battery life isnt all that important seeing that (im assuming) you can go out and buy Xtra battery packs. I mean if your going to fork up how ever much this very expensive peice of hardware im sure will be, you might as well buy an Xtra battery pack as well xD
I find it hilarious there's already so much love/hate for this game and its not even out yet. I would have expected at least a week after release but never this soon.
although I truly loved borderlands art style..i can don't want bioware a dev company i adore to turn that route.

agree. but drake is also a figment of nuaghty dog, thus anything naughty dog can create can also be implemented into future uncharted's without drake and still create an uncharted game worthy of its name
