"How I Forced Myself to Love a Game I Paid Money For."
I'm doing both.
Looks real to me. And we all know it's coming.
I love when people say, "it's worth every penny" when the game isn't even fucking out yet.
Next, we'll have a PlayStation Body Suit, and PlayStation Boots.
50% is off is not "dirt cheap." It's a sale. Dirt cheap is 90% off, like it would have been already, had it been on Steam. Not to mention, you have to pay an additional $50 for the Season Pass, if you want the full game. No thanks, EA. When you stop being greedy bast**** I'll become a returning customer.
Short answer: I just don't care. Game came out, looked uninteresting. Yeah, made by the Halo guys. Must be good! No. Was in the Beta, and from what I saw looked boring and uninteresting long-term. Then they wanted a 10 year lifespan, and I thought MMO. And I hate mmo's. Subscriptions, and just adding newer and better gear to keep you coming back. Not interested.
Now, what they could do is add more interesting gameplay than "every first-person shooter ever invent...
This trying to trademark words is fucking ridiculous, and I hate companies like Sony and the FineBros who are trying to do this.
This is why I don't buy Season Passes until after the fact. They're limitless and they're there, usually for half off, after all DLC has been released anyway. Why buy right away?
Yeah, but that would require PlayStation actually listening to their fans, and we all know they don't do that very much, unless it makes them money. Oh you want backwards compatibility? Well, you can now rent Ps3 games! Oh you want to pop in your old PS2 game? Well, we can resell you it, and we added trophies so that'll be $10.
That's Square's fault.
FFXIII is only getting attention because Square keeps shoving it in everyone's faces. Unneccessary and unwanted sequels. Releases on multiple platforms, and now Steam, released periodically, to create re-interest, as if re-releasing it makes it somehow any better a playthrough than before. Seriously, read the Steam reviews. They're basically saying they like it because it runs on their PCs. Absolutely nothing about the story, game play, characters, or fun factor.
Seco...
Who cares
Xbox = America Fap Incoming
Whoever has the better paycheck wins.
Yeah, but Square can't imagine that. They want money, and they want it now. They don't care what you want.
Oh God... Here we go...
"Deserves" is a strong word to use. You don't "deserve" more when you alienate two other potential platforms. Granted, they are releasing later on, which might make up for that initial "loss." Also, I'm sure Microsoft's exclusivity deal paid for the "losses."
I bet you feel like you graduated college with that line, huh?
I got PS Plus to play online. I didn't care about the rented games they give out each month. I either buy all the games I want to play, or rent them to try them out, then return them.
I'm not paying $60 a year anymore for this service. I'll be switching to PC, where all online games are free to play, with the added benefit of cheaper games, better graphics, and complete backwards compatibility. Oh, and I can hook up my laptop or PC to my TV, and play with a con...
