Dude you seriously need to check out the kinect hacks they have a kinect mod where hes playing street fighter with kinect it works pretty well the main thing is that the controls or gestures would need to be tweaked for better backwards and forwards movement. Heres the vid.

it was on rails then they remade it with a free movement but they said it didnet work well ( probably due to the way in which you use different spells) so they went back to on rails, The part that's mainly on rails from what ive read are the dungeons there's some movement with the horse carriage.

well as a kinect owner dude you have to be weary of what reviews you listen too my best advice is to wait like 3 weeks or so before buying a game if there's no demo out and wait until someone posts a video of the thing working because the reviewers these days seem as bias and unbelieving in kinect as 99% of these trolls so just wait until you actually see the game in action and make sure you take notice of there play space and there gestures because a lot of people get really lazy or just...
it works just not for everyone i mean even with steel battalion and other titles theres still people supporting the game and even showing it working for them so it must be something wrong between those it works for and those it dosent. Most of the disappointment for me is from the developers I do t know if you tried out most of the well received games but there pretty good. So on rails is not haveing the ability to freely move around on a set path the player automaticly moves on there's side stepping in journey but that's not much. Non on rails as cat agonized by gamers is basically being able to freely move around but if you really think about I he's kind of has a point sure you can move around wily nilly in games like max Payne and cod bu your still on that path laid out that your going to fallow there is no progression backwards your on the rails ...

It had so much potential but died in the hands of this studio sad thing is that it wouldn't even be that hard to make a good DBZ game with kinect. look at game play of this and then look at game play of ultimate tenkaichi they just added kinect controls and scrapped multiplayer components to not deal with balancing or just plain laziness.
