Pokemon yellow all the way. Even though it's basically the same thing :P
Can't wait until Pokemon wiiu though. That will be my main game for a looooong time.
So because the graphics aren't a lot better it's a console port?
I can assure you console gamers won't have nearly as much fun on it as PC gamers do.
Just wait till the wiiu pokemon game :P
It was already confirmed back in E3 not to have friend codes.
I really like the smart card idea. I don't trust online shopping nowadays so I never ask the store to remember my credit card info. So instead of placing my credit card number in every time, I just need to whip out my wallet and tap it on the controller whenever I have to buy something. Easy-peasy. I actually hope this payment method catches on like it did in Japan.
If I'm getting all that right of course...
^Well, you know what I'm trying to say :)
Do consoles have endless mods, Diablo, DotA, Starcraft, ARMA, Counter Strike, Total War, Witcher 2, Stalker, non-buggy Half Life games, Red Orchestra, Civilization, and the hundreds of indie games that come out all the time? No, No, and No.
I'll stick with PC and consoles thank you very much.
I wish I had a beta key :(
Add metroid in there and you've got my list.
This is a tech demo. Not a game. Big difference.
Plus, the Samaritan demo was run on a PC so I really have no clue what you're talking about in the first place...
@KB0 - Wrong. Wiiu is rumored to be anywhere from 2x x360 to 8x more powerful than the x360 (rumor was 20% less powerful than x720 which was 10x more powerful than the x360).
Honestly people here have no clue how to launch a next gen console. They aren't going to release some super new high tech device that can run games as good as a $1500 high-end computer. No, they're going to release machines that will cost between $350 and $500. That price is NOT 10x more powerful...
OMG I want a Pokemon WiiU game soooo badly. I would buy the collectors edition and everything. I would eat that shit up.
Nintendo is sitting on a gold mine with that. They just have to realize it (if they haven't already).
As an avid rts and tbs gamer, i really hope the next total war game or the next civ game will come to the wiiu. Before, i always knew regular console controlers woulndnt do these types of games well(because of the lack of buttons and having to select particular units on the field) but this screen controller on the wiiu would basically eliminate that problem. You can move with the analog sticks and change the camera, select units and have your management buttons all on the touch screen, and se...
It's probably the same thing with new maps :P
Ending of Metro is way better. Blops had a stupid soap opera ending.
I don't think you realize just how popular pokemon (still) is...
Pretty sure it was announced back during the CoD2 days when Activision said they would do a new CoD every year...
Don't forget turn-based strategy. I would love it if the next Total War game was being developed for wiiu. Or maybe Civ VI. Nothing makes me happier than the thought of sitting on my couch playing my favorite TBS or RTS game on a big screen. Very relaxing.
The problem with other consoles is that the controller limited the game to a couple buttons. Plus there's the problem with the ease of selecting/attacking characters. The wiiu controller basically eliminates that pr...
I hated how GoW3 was so bright. They took away all the grittiness...
I haven't bought a portable since the gameboy color. But I might eventually get a 3DS. I completely missed the whole DS and GBAdvanced craze.
Plus I still love Pokemon and get a nostalgic high from when I was in elementary school and the original cards/games came out so that's a big selling point for me...
