Agree. CoD 1 was also really good. I think my favorite part was storming the river bank in Stalingrad.
I loved how they made it so if you run back at all then you get shot. You could really feel the communism. Lol.
This guy is going to bankrupt Acti.
I can just feel it. Blizzard will leave, and people will eventually get tired of CoD. After Bungie leaves as well, its all over. There will be not enough incoming money.
Then Bobby will hang himself in his office and a double rainbow will shine across the sky all over the world. Then all will know that the gaming devil is dead...
The company is barely the best at anything. CoD is like the only good game they have(and thats still kinda debatable). Everything else is either complete cr@p or is made by blizzard.
I cant wait till blizzard gets fed up with being the only thing keeping the company from nose-diving and decides to leave.
I'm getting this game and Crysis 2. I cant wait for both :)
Its not that impressive at all when you do the math actually.
Lets say there are 1,000,000 people that have played/is playing Cod:BO on PS3.
That means that the average person has played about 5.746hrs. Take into account that there are a couple people(probably 10% or so) that are playing this game non-stop then its not that extraordinary. Its a lot, but nothing really special...
CoD is the worst thing that happened to FPS. Their constant releases made FPS games seem generic. They also control the popularity of each sub-genre(if they make MW games, others make MW games.) They begin that sub genre, release game after game until people get sick of said genre, then move on to f*ck up another sub-genre.
Wish CoD was never made.
6 million people played MW2 everyday when it came out. I didnt see lucky throwing knife kills until a couple months after.
Its because they made the tomahawk be attracted to the enemy so its really easy to get a hit(kinda like the sticky grenade in Halo3)
Zombies will eventually get boring to people. I used to be a huge fan of zombies(even before the movies started to popularize them). I read books about them, saw old movies, etc.(I'm not a creeper, just thought they were super cool :) ).
Now, I'm just really bored with zombies. They don't appeal to me like they did when i was younger.
Good luck to Crytek. Hopefully all goes well and it get GOTY for FPS or some sort like that. That will really knock Acti. in the teeth.
I'm planning on getting this. Based on the small amount of multiplayer footage I've seen, it looks really solid and fun. Plus I had a really good time with Crysis 1. I loved how you could choose what nano suit abilities you needed to use for each encounter. Plus I have a really good computer so the graphics were a big bonus :).
Thats such a dumb comment. Many people died during the cold war.
Can anyone tell me if this is like WaW? Like does it have limbs blowing off and does it feel like WaW?
If it is like WaW, I will enjoy it a lot.
Steam gives away games for free or almost free(remember the MW2 bans where they gave away L4D2 to those million people?). I really dont think they would give a $hit about a couple of store bans.
It will actually probably hurt the store more than it would Steam.
Thats so disrespectful...
BO doesn't honor vets at all. The story isn't even based off a true story(True time in history though). At least MoH's story is based off of operation Anaconda and shows how the soldiers risked their lives to help one another. Plus BO puts needless action into the game to make it appeal to people.
ZOMG. I want this game!
I love things that are set in that type of time period.
Such an interesting time...
Sounds like you just suck at it.
But ya, Ive kinda quit that game too. Hopefully they go back to what made them good on the next game. I think their mistake was to include DICE.
I play BC2 and CS now...
WaW was pretty good. I dont remember any bugs except sometimes you can find little areas where the dog killstreak wont attack you.
I still have fun with that game. I hope that BO is somewhat similar to WaW(haven't bought it yet) cus if it is then I will probably enjoy it.
Ya. And I really dont think imma gonna buy from Sledgehammer. CoD is already starting to get kinda old so when you mix in a brand new dev that is probably gonna skrew something up, then it just adds up to a bad game.
I think its only the CoD devs that have been half-assing it lately.
I cant really think of anyone else...
I really liked how CoD:UO multiplayer worked. You would rank up during the match and gain certain abilities as you go up(like binoculars and then an airstrike, then two airstrikes, etc. Then the ranks would reset at the end. So ranking was more about skill than how long you played.
