The touchscreen will be a lot of fun when you play with friends. You can screw people over and stuff by moving platforms at the last second ;)
Yes, it has BC with the wii. Nintendo said for now on, every console will have BC with the previous console.
I kinda wish they'd keep BC with gamecube but I gess it's not that big of a deal...
I'm the exact same. Always grew up with a Nintendo console and a Playstation console in my living room and with a PC in my basement.
I haven't had a portable since the Gameboy color, but that may change with the 3DS and Vita. I'm tempted every day to get both.

What's with this "Mario on the PS3" comment? SONY is doing pretty bad too. $6.4 billion bad - about 12x the loss Nintendo had.
I guess here on N4G when SONY losses $6.4 billion, they'll be alright but when Nintendo losses $5.3 million for the first time in history, they are all the sudden doomed... smh

Don't get why people disagreed with you. The annual loss was lower than what they predicted. I think saying "revenue slides off a cliff" is a bit of an exaggeration especially considering the damage that the yen had this year.
Well I know it's "Black Ops 2". But I liked the cold war. I really dont want to go from mw3(modern), to another modern setting, then (possibly) mw4 the year after. Treyarch usually broke it up for me by using different time settings.
Ill wait for may 1st, but I really hope its not a modern(ish) setting...

A lot of people (including me) like that minimalist look when it comes to shooters. The less junk and clutter on the screen, the better (for me, at least)

I hope it's still in the Cold War. I liked that whole Red Scare vibe (A lot more than the modern Russian vs. US thing that BF and MW do).

@Muffins It's not going to be 2013 since they aren't even announcing the console at E3 this year. Microsoft would never announce the console at E3 2013 then release the console less than 5 months after.
