but the good thing about the 'save anywhere you want system'' is that you get to strategize and do something differently everytime... i can only imagine how liberating it must have been to play far cry 2 with a quick save feature... and not have take a 15 minute bus ride everytime i died to just die again ... have to agree with bioshock hard, med, easy its all the same ... only difference is a 100 g gamerscore for hard
oh god seriously ... dead rising is the game that really had the dumb horrible npc... and escorting them throught shoulder to shoulder zombies was just so damn frustrating .... especially with the horrible save system...
i mean in the end you really wanna enjoy the experience and not bang your head against the wall... i know some go in it for the challenge of things but isnt that what multiplayer is for?... not tooo tuff... and not tooo easy...

unreal engine has given us a lot of great games like bioshock, mass effect, gears, mirrors edge, splinter cell, rainbo six, deus ex, brothers in arms, graw... hell even XIII.. (yup that comic book cell shaded master piece)... but i think its about time epic chuck this engine and start from scratch ... with id tech 5 and cry engine 3 right around the corner .. they'd be forced to rethink a few things... i'm sure they're just waiting like us to see how those engines perform in a full game with ...

does not adopt more custom engines on its exclusives the 360 wont get pushed... exclusives like gears and mass effect are devloped by third party studios... and thrid party studios usually tend to save lot of money and resources by adopting middleware engines like unreal...
