I don't think people that got the game before the release date from stores will get banned. I think those leaked versions where incomplete versions and therefore had a different structure.
Or maybe they where leaked by the developers a few weeks early so that they would know either by an achievement or save file that is different from the original copy in order to ban the pirates. Conspiracy anyone?
I have a ps3 and a 360 and yes they do get the rrod a lot but I still prefer to play in my xbox and use the ps3 as a Blueray player altho I'm looking forward to Killzone 2. But is the 360 worth it? Heck yeah.
He does have a point from a lot of people I know that have at least the Wii with another system (xbox or ps3) they play the other systems way more than they use the Wii and most will tell you that they play it only when a group of friends visits them so they can have a social playtime but other than that they don't play it very often.
From what I heard there is a way to hack the ps3 and consists of a way to record the whole game disc on the hdd but don't know if its posible to play online and there's a rumor that it can be done with recordable BD discs (I find hard to belive this one) but like I said its just rumors.
The 360 was hacked before its release since its mostly based on pc hardware but its never gonna be as easy as a pc. And the new drives cannot be hacked (at least for now).
You do have to Open it but it can be done without voiding the warranty. Now as for banning you have to be careful not to play the title long before its release (Fallout 3)you can but disconnect the xbox from the online component before doing so and don't get achievements on your regular account.
You can copy a game from a dvd drive but you need a specific dvd drive that can be modified to read the 360 titles and you rip them from the original.
Yeah but the service is only on the US and won't come to Puerto Rico =(... sucks been a subscriber for both and not getting what you pay for.
As a fact on the X360 you can play any copied game online and they work just like the original, but you can't play the games before their lunch date or you will get banned. That is the major problem of the 360. MS tried to stop them about 2 years ago when they released a patch and banned a lot of players, but they made a stealth patch so that the servers would not know if the game is original or copied. But lets hope they end this with the NXE or at least control it.
It is a shame tho and very bad for business. But as of today you can play any game online but not before the release date or get achivements or your xbox will be banned.
The New Xbox Experience might have an unknown solution just like almost two years ago I knew a bunch of people that got their 360s banned because of an update. So they might do that all over again we just have to check our friends list and check those that don't ever log on again.
The Limited edition also has 2 more legendary weapons plus the MC armor and energy sword. I think the legendary sword it has must be the one you get near the end of Fable 1.
You could see thru walls and kill anyone behind cover was pretty sweet. And all the techniques work well in a halo type shooter but not in a cod type cause no scoping in cod will get you killed more times than you kill. Its not like halo where you can no scope people from the other side of the map since the dot is very precise.
I still go to Gamestop to get collectors editions mostly that playntrade don't bring. But if you are gonna give games or anything in trade in PnT is a far better option first they take in trade in anything game related even ps1, atari, nintendo, etc.

Dunno the real reason for not renting games (They should) unless they have a partnership with gamefly or some other company. Just imagine the tons of subscriptions they will get. And they could change the plans instead of 3 dvds you get 2 dvds and 1 game rental or something in between.
I just hope they fix why on Puerto Rico we can rent games but can't view them instantly. Just hope we can when the 360 patch comes.
I've played games since atari and I've had all sony consoles but they should have thought the design of the PS3 controller a bit more. It feels good for games like LBP and most platformers, it does have the best Dpad of all but for FPS games it sucks. The best controller for any FPS is the 360 controller.

I wonder if you could get 4 or 5 people in private chat. It would be very useful in games specially when some of my friends play with me because they don't speak very good English and people just start calling us racist stuff and we have to keep muting em. Just hope this patch has group private chat for games.
