I like that Treyarch seem to be very serious about supporting this game. But it also seems they could have avoided this with some really aggressive QA- this glitch was identified pretty quickly by the community. To beat the douche-bag, you must think like the douche-bag, and do not provide him the bag with which he douches...or something like that.

I am confident the glitch stuff will be worked out. After the MW2 experience, I am more concerned with prevention and banning of ...

Lead and Gold is actually a pretty tight little team objective based game, and lots of fun. Fat Shark has pulled together some fixes for the dedicated server and browser issues the game originally had. This may be the last chance for Lead and Gold to take flight before everyone goes under the wire in Black Ops. I hope they can pull in enough bodies to keep the game going.

Agreed- A persistent faction vs faction(s) bloodbath on a large scale would be great. IMHO, the price of admission needs to buy me a kick ass game with good performance, low ping connectivity, regular updates and additions without having to buy lame DLC, and a lot less cheating/ hacking douche-bags.

Baldur's Gate was an exceptional game.

Says Luhemann: “Imagine what the leaderboard for Solitaire would look like? Imagine getting achievement points for Solitaire? That would be awesome."

I have to admit I was skeptical about Microsoft's dedication to PC gaming, but this is gonna be BIG. Holy crap Microsoft, hire somebody who recognizes the smell of fail FFS.

This "divide" is actually what is referred to in other industries as "competition" Gearbox. It forces companies to innovate and keeps prices down. Consumers like it. If Microsoft wants to be taken seriously in the PC gaming industry they need to work at it just like everybody else. Stop being pushed around by Microsoft and listen to the people who are actually buying your products, Gearbox.

No price drops or sales on anything MW2 related for the past year- until the week before Medal of Honor release. Thank you, Bobby Kotick for the respect you show the consumers that make your company successful.

"Private Joker. I admire your honesty. Hell, I like you, you can come over to my house and fuck my sister!"

Capcom has happily released a number of pc games on Steam, including Resident Evil 5 and Dead Rising 2-coming out this week. I have not seen much complaint from Capcom about poor sales or piracy related to these titles. DR2 is releasing on Steam with additional Microsoft DRM on board. I think the conclusion the author draws is correct. Capcom just plain don't want to bother with PC release of SSF4. It has nothing to do with fear of piracy or reluctance to use Steam as a distribution chann...

At this point, I don't think there are too many people sitting around and waiting or wishing for Microsoft to "lead the way." These guys from Microsoft seem to think that the Earth turns more slowly when they are not pushing it.

"Other companies should look to Microsoft for leadership, but I’m not sure they do."

I am sure that once Valve and Blizzard see the glory of "Age of Empires Farmville Browser Edition," they will come crawling back begging M$ to be part of this amazing pc gaming revolution.

Troll article about a human parasite.

This rationale is horseshit. If they would just throw this thing together (already "99% pc ready") and sell it on Steam they will make plenty of money for very little effort. That crap about why they wouldn't just sell it on Steam stinks of M$ GFWL influence.

Sad EA fuckery.

Bioware: We want to make another exceptional RPG. It is our legacy and our destiny. It is what people have come to expect from Bioware. We once made the best RPG of all time.

EA: Yes, yes that's great. We want you to make an exceptional RPG too. But...what if...it was kind of like a MW2 RPG...or really just exactly like MW2? Seriously we have everyone working on new MW2 type projects. It will be like making an RPG, but people will buy it b...

Might be an ok game. I think I will grab a rack of ribs and some hot wings and check it out.

Developers coming up with "things we've never imagined"

Probably not that hard to do, Microsoft.

I like to watch good movies. I like to play good games. The two do not have a thing to do with one another. And every time I see Bobby Kotick I want to buy fewer games by Activision. Somebody from marketing needs to put a leash on this reptile.

I like hearing from Treyarch about stuff they are doing with Black Ops, but I really don't want to hear from this evil motherf#$ker.
