I had just started to use this service, as it's convenient when you've got time to kill at a friend's house.

That pretty much kills any interest for me.

1) Reporting that a product of any kind is cutting production by "30%" without any context for how much that is, is 100% disingenuous.
2) The reporter that made this claim was called out specifically by Nintendo themselves for providing false reports in the past, so their word is unrelatable.
3) Nintendo sets extremely high expectations and their output in production was already super high, higher than most any other console in history, so even if this is somehow t...

It's a better Switch with much better graphics, third-party support, and fully backwards compatible. You knew what it would be before purchasing.

Besides, surely you were more disappointed by the PS3's launch or the Vita given how rough theirs were in comparison.

The PS5 is showing to not reach the PS4, so you should worry about that instead.

The Switch 2 is outselling the Switch 1 when compared to their first years. You can swing this anyway you want, but that doesn't change reality and sales figures.

By your own logic, every single console has released to lackluster success because people kept buying the console before it. Sony even combined PS2 and PS3 sales at one point to help negate the lackluster start of the PS3.

All those clickbait YouTubers and Twitter users are going to be working overtime to try and swing this as a bad thing, when it continues to defy expectations and break records.

The Switch 2 has now outsold the Steam Deck nearly 3x over and is outselling the OG Switch by nearly 5,000,000 with half a year of sales to go for its first year.

Racing games have primarily been an arcade + PC endeavor in-terms of popularity. GT and Forza pale in comparison to the decades of arcade/PC simulator racing games that defined the genre. iRacing, Assetto Corsa, Rfactor, NR2003, Automobilista, GTR 2/GT Legends, GPL, GP4, Daytona USA, Richard Burns Rally, SEGA Rally, Virtua Racing, etc..

Console games have only just started on the path to comparing to them, but even then, the physics on PC are unmatched.

This comment makes absolutely zero sense. Nintendo is never leaving the console industry as a manufacturer; they have the second highest selling system of all-time, and some of the highest attachment rate of any developer ever. The PS5 won't even touch Switch 1 sales, so why would Nintendo even entertain the idea of this? MK8D sold 70 MILLION UNITS on the Switch. That is the "eye popping sales" you're going on about, if anything Sony wants that for their games that they neve...

I have a feeling with high price increases and recent events, sales will be slowing down. There's a reason they're having to make a cheaper, region-locked, Japan-only console. The PS4/5 section at most stores is barebones, to the point where Walmart has only one section total for both systems' games.

"No further delay expected'

A third delay is about to hit the game just for that sentence alone

Halo: CE to Halo Reach was only 8 years.

Halo has now been a mediocre-to-bad franchise for longer than Bungie had it for, which is crazy. It's same with Forza and Gears of War; once Xbox's top-quality franchises reduced to run-of-the-mill AAA games that fade into obscurity the moment they're released (or in Forza's case, the main franchise is DOA).

Digital Eclipse has several collections that will forever be stuck in a broken state without input lag being fixed. This isn't a WB issue, it's consistent with how EC has been since they were reborn. It's why Capcom stopped trusting them after they botched Street Fighter and Mega Man.

11M+ units sold in four months means you were incredibly incorrect. It's unofficially at 12-13M since those numbers were before Z-A released.

Y'all really need to stop drinking that YouTube hatebait Kool-Aid, it's not indicative of reality.

It's Digital Eclipse, they will never fully fix the game. Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection still have issues to this day.

8.5 is crazy. Did they even play the game?

There's input lag in every aspect of the game, including the MENU. Audio is busted when playing online. Each game requires individual filter settings instead of a blanket setting. Online is a ghost town, and it's split between every single game with zero lobbies so finding the correct match is almost impossible.

The moment Digital Eclipse was shown as the developer, everyone should have known this would h...

This is before Z-A launched, so that number is closer to 12M+ now. The sales are crazy on the system, and people are enjoying it a lot. Fastest selling system of all-time, and it's well stocked everywhere.

Funny how all those boycotts lead to nothing, and the market decided for themselves what they wanted. I constantly see people using the fact that systems are readily available as proof that it's not selling well, but clearly that's nonsense.

RE9 runs at 60 fps and they still have months of work to refine it, so 7 and 8 will run well. All three will be at good resolutions, too.

Xbox consoles prices going up, Xbox Game Pass going all the way to $360 a year for the important tier, a handheld that doesn't even play Xbox games for $600/1000, and they spent way too much buying up every developer they could with hardly any output

How to speedrun killing a brand that was already struggling after a decade of missteps
