Hopefully those are screenshots of an early build of the game . Frankly the games graphics look horribly PS2-ish and don't do the PS3 justice at all.The character models aren't too bad but the background textures definitely need a lot of polish.
This is rather offtopic but i fail to see how anyone can feel excited about Magna Carta 2 .
The first one was frankly one of the worst RPGs on the PS2 with probably the most terrible battle system of the lot.
I have it and am playing it ATM . Would rate it as second best rpg on PS3 behind Valkyria Chronicles . Its actually a fantastic game even though its brutally difficult at times ( It actually reminds me of the earlier Megaman games since you pick a level then fight to the boss).
The main 3 flaws of this game that prevent it from becoming an all time great :
1) The frame rate drops noticeably at times . Mostly happens a lot in isolated areas when you destroy objects .

Wasn't the PS3 outselling the 360 by a slight margin WW even when it was at a higher price point($50 or so?) ? I recall that was when MS decided to push the o'sh*t button and sell their console for peanuts.
To be honest i would probably agree with their rating for graphics . The character models look well ..to put it nicely "not very good" .
Other than that , i remain rather skeptical about Famitsu after some of their recent reviews. I'm looking at you Last Remnant . Famitsu has a tendancy to give SE games much higher ratings than they deserve.
Would personally switch Sword of Mana and Final Fantasy III's positions respectively . FF3 was great and all but after a certain point in the game , i felt they overdid things a bit and were trying too hard.
FFXIII doesn't even have a definite release date in the west so even if they decide to delay it to port the 360 version we won't have a clue . Something i find odd is why SE does not want to do a Worldwide release for this game (like last remnant) .
Personally , i like anime style characters especially for my rpgs .
But the character designs look a wee bit odd to me (especially the main character) . For me they look more like dolls which is not a good thing.
For those saying , "OMFG it looks awesome / best looking game ever" . I suggest you reserve your opinion till more screenies or at least a trailer is released . From what i've seen , all we've got is a bunch of CGI and some battle screenies . The best bat...
The piracy thing isn't as much of an issue as some people think . Yes Nintendo probably loses some sales because of piracy but the amount of downloads will never ever translate 1:1 into sales.
You might see thousands of people downloading games from torrent sites but whats to say that these people would actually buy the original product if that was their only option?
