i loved HS but it's too short... and it wasn't a complete game either.
and while dmc4 was cool it wasn't the best of the series, i have an ansgt of non jap devs trying to make Jap games, they just arent quirky enough... DMC thrives on deep combat and speed precision execution, and way way over the top japanese humor. and frankly DMC is at the top of the japanese stylized action hack and slash while GOW is at the top of the west.
if they are trying to revitalize t...
Christmas mus thave really broken sony's piggy bank of slims... if anything i'm sure the PS3 sold quite well this march, it had 2 exclusives hit the system and a multiplatform that made it popular in its initial launch in the gaming market. ^^ we shall see. I hope they mannaged to crack at least 400k this month. because that was one hell of a month.
OH MY GOSH!!!! WATTSON, OH MY F*CKING GOSH!!!!! the title has me thinking explosive fun and somewhat dark and gritty to a city that should be peaceful.
but to be totally honest, even though he didn't pen the first crysis, the narrative of both Halo series and crysis is equally forgetful, much like COD and KZ narrative. i think the only Shooters that had some pretty remarkable stories were the original resistance, Bioshock and Half Life. It's all about the atmostphere and how it all immerses you into the world, and the way the mythos for each game was done. Resistance:FOM, Bioshock 1 and the entire half life series did this very well... and ...
Jhotto was definately my favourite. and replaying heartgold and soul silver was a blast form the good old past... dont care too much for the new ones so i'm likely to skip this. good to see Ninty still doing pokemon though, they are fun games, but i've out grown them.
.... Make that a VEEEEEEEERY very slow day for news on N4G.
I'm happy its doing so well, 1m world wide in 5 weeks for a game like this is quite a feat. it's a very great thing and i'm glad sony took this game up under its portfolio... The PS platform is synonmous for giving the fanbase such diverse incredible experiences... this is a true blue ocean approach. I love it. this game is gonna sell well. it's more than already on its way to surpassing that. So good on them.
No one has ever claimed that U2 was a redefining game. nor was it claimed to be the be all in the action adventure genre. What it is, is a well done, well told, well paced action game that does the genre proper justice, much more than any game has done this generation. it"s not trying to redefine what action is, redefined action would be the stylish takes on action, like gow and ninja gaiden and dmc, as those are action games with a redefined focus on action in a stylised direction. All ...
I'm pretty sure. because it was released on PSN just prior to e309.. i mean i have the damn thing sitting on my HDD. what ever.
its pretty interesting. and seems to be a good fix, who on earth doesnt have usb drives
it was something of a rumor when they said that research was being done over at Sony bend back in 2008 for an unannounced ps3 game in development... is was for motion and animation... with how things are going for PS3 games, realistic animation is the new thing in for PS3 games... and the tech going into 8 days was used to benefit other projects. one i saw when i was part of a focus group late 2008. I hope they use it in a Syphon filter for Ps3, because to me, thats the playstations Sam fish...
I like the sound of it, but i'm not buying...
if a machine is made to play games for only that platform, hacking it just sooo you can, play games illegally cuts money out of dev teams trying to make a living... it ultimately holds the entire industry back... which is why i dont run emulators on my pc or even jailbreak any of my consoles.. in fact it messes up the longterm usage of the machine...
i hope these hackers get whats coming to them.
it has some graphical inconsistencies through out. But those are negligent. the story and the over all grim noir feel of the game makes it stand with the top dogs of this gen... there isn't a game like this on any other platform, which is why i love this game, and MY PS3, Sony totally did the right thing with publishing this game. QD and DC really hit home with this, and i'm glad its sold so well.
Both games pissed all over anything on the market right now, on rival platforms even on pc excluding the original crysis. On the ps3 the only thing that can dance with these games is KZ2. I think Over all for shear consistency in graphics uncharted 2 wins, but GOW3's scale is unrivalled. And at its best it makes uncharted 2 look dated. GOW3 has graphics that look amazing in some parts and OMG graphics in others. Nothing else on the market can't look in thief directions
I'll start putting money away for that grand spanking new 3d TV, it's gonna be a Sony Bravia 3d set, and i'm sure Black friday will have some drop in price. Gameslike Dead Space 2, GT5-3d, KZ2-3d Stardust 3d and many more will be awesome... I cant wait to see the extensive catalog of 3d games, most of it is going to be first party but i'm sure 3rd party will seek to put 3d support for PS3 versions since xbox 360 cant out put 3d. LOL!!!!! Sony really was thinking future proof.

not even a good april fools prank.
and for awhile it was gonna be Battlefeild:BC2, because of the beta on PS3, but what changed that was the GTTV media event for GOW3, after seeing the first person Kill scene, the game rocket through the stratusphere as the game to own for March. as FFXIII kinda disqualified itself Late last year.
because the protagonist is a a Gay charcter who happens to look gay. LOL!!!
its about time developers began making more human charcters, which is why i applaud Bioware and Sega and even rockstar even though Gay tony was way more over the top. at least these characters are closer to being identified with, because it aint just heterosexuals that play video games. I still cant wait however, versus 13 will be awesome.
que 360 fannies with Gay bashing!
I'm just giddy giddy giddy at how far their enhancements to the nocturnal engine, it's in it's 6ths gen right now. Ted told me that they have major surprises for e3 this year, and i'm stoked. what i saw october is sure to look godly, and the last i heard a few of their buds from ND has been hired for outsourcing so they can get some amazing texture work going for the engine. ^^
these guys are sooo humble and they make excellent games, which is why i will continue to support th...
