Gears of war is the most spectacular Game on the 360 visually and probably in gameplay as well but crysis looks out of this world... much more realistic looking than Gears of war, in crysis the humans look and feel realy... in gears of war the characters look frozen in expression and laminated and oiled greecy, like action figures... u can not have Crysis and Gears of war together... because no xbox 360 can compare visually to a high end pc... and thats what crysis is running on... directx 10...
if u ask me this looks mor realistic than gears of war in terms of lighting... GOW look way too plastic... everything shines and blinds the user... as visually impressive as that game maybe... the people at unrealy should try to make the humans look believable and with the skin tone and all... the characters face has no emotion what so ever... he just looks like an action figure..dipped in baby oil... i mean come on we know that the game is next gen and it must have a nice light and shade dyn...

And they do use the same Game engine... The thing is that Gears of war has been development for about close to two years... and no no else knows the engines like the people who create the engine so they will get the the best yeilds from it... On the other hand... konami seems to know what exaclty they are doing with this game... so given more time and they have another 9-12 months till the launch of this game they should pull out a beautiful work of art... The developer said that there are other hackers in the game that have the same objectives as you but for other reason... and will either cooperate with u or challenge and attack... something u dont really se much of in FPS... others that want the samething u do and deside to help or challenge... really interesting concept... i hope Konami can pull this off effectively

MS's head guy use to work as an intern for Apple... while in college... the guy dropped out when the he got a taste of mac and created a sucessful dynasty of theives \known as Microsoft... a windows Pc design is so decendent of a mac...
