Cinematic Multiplayer with huge set pieces are neat! but it's something i think they helped get going with GG's with Killzone 3! :-) its a new take on multiplayer to keep things action packed! i love the way they are going out on a limb and integrating epic moments found in single player and weaving it into multiplayer.! now i want to see in uncharted 4, that these things happen procedurally and effect things including players dynamically on the fly.
actually! everyone who has had hands on time with the game at E3 said the game has completely remedied FF13's failures in every possible way! I'm actually excited for 13-2. IGN gameinformer and a few other reputable journal sites reported that the linearity is gone and exploration and wonder has been broght back! I cant wait to play this sequel.
only pessimists look at the negatives! they have a business to run! and their business is booming! move along! companies as big as sony's recover from security breaches and lawsuits. it's money they'll get back over the life time of their business.
judging by Sonys interesting in developing the ps3, its just now hitting it's stride and the platform keeps on expanding on its features we wont see a ps4 for another 4 years! and with the current level of software, I'd be happy if the PS4 doesnt show face for 5 years! no need to squander, they'll start the next gen when they are good ad ready... besides. Suckerpunch can do a new ip this gen or just create Infamous 3...
meh! this game's gameplay is hugely marred by the design choices of NT! its narrative however, was great! i enjoyed it. as NT does a great job with stories! can't say i'm excited about DmC:Devil may Cry though! that game is all about gameplay! speed, precision, and utter enjoyment out of exhilarating combat! all that will take a back seat for some stupid engine not meant to perform at smooth 60 FPS and an above average narrative

Yeah, this isn't particularly new. Burnout Paradise supported cross-platform PS3 vs. 360 multiplayer up until a few short weeks before release, at which point Microsoft forced Criterion to remove the feature. It's nice to hear another developer clearing the air about it, though.

To sum this game up! this game will be a polished turd! it's balls to wall action will be non exsistant much like all the aesthetics DMC franchise has had! in exchange it'll prolly have a great story! but at the rate it'll be slow, and filled with texture pop-ins running on that tired UE3 engine! not made for games that require speed style and memorizing super fast button combinations to survive swarms of enemies!

Jesus! Resistance 2's Graphics stand up to even Modern Warfare 3's graphics The Orick california level was just crazy! LOL!
I enjoyed R2, it wasn't a disaster, it was just a departure from R1. R2 was over the top and it's set pieces were amazing! It just lacked the grit of R1 and atmosphere. visually it was better but also more color ful! i liked Fall of man more than I liked R2 but R2 wasn't bad!
That said I cant wait for R3. it looks amazing!
Thats thepoint Sony will make sure the graphics are capable to bring forth the best in gaming but things will be greatly improved. 60fps frame engine @1080p will be standard and Games doing full 3d HD gaming will be even better. Graphics will approach some new found territory in awesome, the thing is Sony will not be doing things to take the biggest lose. they wont risk it again which is why the Vita is the price it is now! the cost of admission to next gen Sony gaming wont be like how it was...
Personally I'm so attached to these characters that any kind of harm done to them would make me pissed beyond my limits! but thats the beauty of creating such a lovable cast of characters, They did an awesome job creating such characters that we as players and humans call become so attached! :-) kudos to NaughtyDog Uncharted is definately an awesome game with some of the best characters in history, the only other game i can think of is Heavy Rain! that game had me entralled in all it'...
And Sony isn't forcing to re-buy the PS2 classics that offer incentives to go through them again! if the hd collections that sony and countless others are starting tomake are milking, then so is halo combat evovled anniversary edition. your point is moot and a waste of wall.
