when it comes to online network offerings this game has been clearly stated to be a PSN exclusive by both EA, Criterion, and Sony, that automatically puts this out of the xbox live availabilty in the future as a no go never happening.

i tried and got rejected, they said its a closed beta so
you all should go to the myresistance.net page and click the beta. it'll ask for a your email address, the one thats been tied to your psn account and your password. once you enter, it'll tell you if you have been selected for the closed beta.

thats an awesome way of doing it. making sure that multiplayer modes was made at the same time as single player and ensuring that it looks as good as single player. thats fantastic. i'm telling you, this engine is bananas no other console game in development has got it right now besides heavy rain and war devil. fantastic stuff.
in example Insomniac, the resistance engine or the noctonral as they tend to call it now is in it's third generation.
That engine best shows how progressive ootimizations can make your system shine.
Next is evolution studios own Motorstorm engine. as a matter of fact, that was one of the engines that they were going to licenses because motorstorm looks amazing for a game that came out at launch if you count it's december 16th release in japan.

The story sounds like it will be awesome. ^^ and the engine sounds like it will be very awesome. I cant wait to see it. this certainly sounds better than the Dark Knight game... simply put, movie license games rarely ever shine because they just get poor development treatment and is often just used as a cash cow for good movies.
it would be a nice addition with trophies included in the PS3 version if they desided to make it.
it really seems as if that october is the cut of date for games with optional trophy support. since bioshock was the first game announced with trophies. and it comes out in october. every game that releases after october will have trophies. and thats great.
as for novastrike. i'd like to see if it has a demo i could try out.
the other heavy hitter is the street fighter HD remix and Megaman 9. those are basically the only games i'll purchase from capcom online download games
Not all games installs on the PS3 are 5 gigs. and besides i think i saw you raving about xbox 360 installs with this fall dashboard update. optional or not, the boat load of those same 360 fan that where bashing Sony fans about DMC4, GT5 and MGS4 about it's 5 gig installs will be doing the same come release so they dont have to put up with that noisy disc read, and HDD. MS is still shafting it's users with the core and arcade. and they simply cant phase them out because they exist.

OMG i'd kill to have a few of those, i swear, i spoke about them marketing the game to kids, and mentioning seeing sackboy plush dolls and on backpacks for schools and such. the marketing needs to go above and beyond. i mean pouring into it a 40+ million dollar marketing. TVs, posters, bookbags stickers plush toys, pens pencils billboards. even a TV show. and some awesome comercials showing off this game and explaining how it brings the family to gether...

but just as you both said the story can be reversed. and there are plenty that disagree with you on halo 3 being a better game over COD4. i side with them because i came away feeling that it was less substance when comparing it to COD4. you dont have to agree with me, i'm not agreeing with you, i played both enough to not be fooled by the hype. so again. if you are butt hurt that the vast majority prefers COD4 to Halo3, get you some asprin and and a few banages, and please keep the ps3 titles...
Sorry i dont need to. i have my opinions on any said game because i dont need an xbox to play the games, i've beaten all 3 halos and can see for my self that it's over hyped. being MS i certainly woudn't pump 30m mill in marketing halo 3 not for what i got out of it. and as i've said before i dont hate halo i just think it's over hyped and that cod4 is a better game.
