the beta should be any day now and isn't Play.com a UK site... The beta is only for american PS3s... I'm guessing this week the this friday the beta will go live.
western RPGs are not my thing especially with the form of elder scrolls.. i hate first person RPGs and a Japanese RPG going the western roots is off the map for me... while i'm happy the PS3 is getting more exclusive RPGs... this one if it's anything like oblivion then i'll skip it... way too slow and clunky and the pacing put me to sleep.

and spend on acquiring studios or funding development cost of select titles to make them exclusive to the console or do a timed exclusive deal... because by the time the game releases and everyone plays it for the first 1-3 months the extra mission when it finally sees the light of day perhaps 6-9 months post release the intrigue will have diminished... waste of product... and this game TR:U they picked the worse game to do it.. PS3 members get exclusive DL content for Mirror's edge and dead space, and the stellar gameplay but graphical glitch ridden PS3 version of Bioshock so really whats all this suppose to mean, at the end of the launch day everyone will have to wait for this DL content to surface on there servers so everyone will be playing the same game from the get go...

they had an exclusive last year all though it sucked goat ass, and they have 2 that will be dropping this year. One being nobi nobi boy and Naruto:UNS, still the PS3 is in need of RPGs, i wish sony would commision a few devs like Nippon ichi and Atlus to do some more RPGs and have then Sony would publish them on the PS3 to help speed up development. Level 5 and from software arent enough. i wish they would fund a few othejr RPGs from namco and sega as well.

Rockband 2 Bionic Comando:RA, Buzz PS3, Eye of judgemnent, and now we've got Farcry 2... 22 titles supporting trophies already in the span of 3 months after being released ^^
and all the other games this year like prince of persia, SM:web of Shadows, RE5, KZ2, alpha protocol... the list goes on... go...
MS's pockets are just as big as Sony's the thing is here that MS will Pay out there ass with and continue to gain negative deficits to gain PS3 games, while Sony will use what money they have to broaden there first and second party developer studios and help publish third party games that they see fit worthy of an exclusive... the demo is a demo. the full version of the game is 3 weeks away. it's bioshock with extra stuff for those that want it get it. it's an aweosme game, but for those that played it on PC and xbox 360 last year, it aint worth getting this game on the same day as LBP, or worth a play with all the new games coming out this fall.
a year old multiplat verses a brand new exclusive and new multiplats ... I'll take the latter especially since i've played and beat Bioshock on the 360 alrea...

^^ man it's gonna be awesome. the PS3 has 2 titles up for Game of the month for that issue with LBP and Resistance 2 and then gears of war 2 for the 360 and there is a chance that Fallout 3 makes game of the month for that issue, i wanna see how ythis goes I wouldn't be surprised if LBP takes the cake or if Gears of War and Resistance equals out and both get the game of the month... FallOut 3 could also do it because it's a very big and hyped game and it's from bethesda they are pretty talent...
it adds more time to the "WAIT" Game that fanbois look to use because we have to download and then install. and then there is STILL the Space Issue, while we can always say yeah just upgrade the HDD, people would rather not do that even though it might be beneficial in the long run. This article while it sounds like a good idea, 20 minute mandatory installs which a 4-5 gigs worth wont be fun downloading no matter what the connection speed, maybe that would be sound if we had inernet...

I had for gotten about this weird and quirky game. looks like this TGS is going to be very big and prominent for Sony.
