My word i almost thought POG, 1stknight, or Mart wrote this article. the supposed "facts"/reason he list here is just funny. i'll agree though that the price point was what caused them to sell less, but goodness, the other 2 reasons were just outlandish to say the least. and then what professional article uses the word "flopping" tell you what? a fanboy banter article laced with flames.. anywhere for 250k+ to 300+ with it's peek being when MGS4 launched. still no doubt a price cut would have been a more favourable thing for them this holiday season. but hey the cut price of bluray players signifies that the cost of bu-ray diodes have gon down. and the cost of HDDs have also taken a fall with the release of teh 160g PS3 and the 80g selling for 399 and 499 respectively. with out the games both of those consoles would be going for 299 and 399, still i think we shall see a price ...
This really looks alot better than the Last remnant. it's gonna be amazing. and the fact that the Ps3 has another RPG set to release early next year. the momentum for that game will be awesome. PS3 will start to sell even better next year in Japan.
and FF13 man it's a wrap..... bring on the next blockbuster RPG for PS3 now.
i reallycant wait to see this game in motion. japan is gonna be love this game upon release, the next thing Sony needs to do is market it like crazy inthe US because Famistu and denkeki will do tyhe word of mouth for this game this winter in Japan. and it has 4 player Co-op online. in addition dropping the price is nessassary. i just dont see that. i was expecting about 500k or even 600k. the games are better. but it's too expensive. Sony this should tell you to be more competitive. price and aggressive margeting
sony is in for a black christmas last year december sony sold 755K ps3's almost doubling what the sold the month before. they had better get the new price drop. early next year or thy are gonna be hurting. damn. they sold less than last year for november. tsk. you cant spin this. even if the ps brand as a whole is showing well numbers the brand year on year numbers for november, they need better marketing and being more aggressive with it. Sony sold less this year than they did last year at black friday. it's as i've said before sony just needs a more agressive marketing and thats its. and a price cut would be nice. next month will be interesting
Just before you went to purchase the "Free" club house, there was a disclaimer that said that once the beta goes open, you will lose the club house and will have to repurchase it by means of owning the rights. This is right on the mark. my guess is, Sony will charge in Home anywhere from $5-$15 bucks. though they haven't given any details once it goes live today you'll all be able to see what it's about.

But they cant.. they are independent just like Insomniac and factor 5 and sucker punch, the seocnd thing everyone has to learn is that because level 5 is independent, they are also contracted and or commissioned to do games for various publishers and platforms.. which is why they've done a myriad of suikoden titles and the successful dragon quest 8 with Square and Konami, in addition to Sony owned propertties.

They said the moment the Home launches, there respective games will have game spaces on the day the home beta opens. With both Warhawk and resistance supporting home, as well as GT5p it's gonna be just awesome seeing home blossom into what was promised from launch.
Epic, Capcom ubisoft, are among the 35d party developers that are supporting home.
I'm sure the trophy room will be around on launch or shortly after.

The only thing i payed for was the club house and thats because they require you to buy the entitlements to the club house.
