These same people who called R3 a rushed game said they were not buying it and that Dead Isle would be the game to get... Lmaooooooooo! Now two days later Dead Isle Devs confirm that their game has issues so they are patching it at launch.... Where are the trolls? Fanboys? Elitists? .......... ........ ... AFTER the game went GOLD and shipped off to get printed.... Aaaaaand from the looks of it the post GOLD beta gave fixes and feedback. It's that large because fans also asked for a new game mode for multiplayer and skins and a taunt. The game was polished on single player. Multiplayers bugs got ironed out because of the beta. I doubt a reveal for a game like this will happen at TGS11, if anything This will be at Spike VGA 2011! or by a popular Magazine reveal in the winter!
A game centric to most americans this wouldn't be the event for that! they tend to have games at trade shows for the specific region. European and american studio made games tend to be announced at E3 Gamescon or at individual reveal events like Spike VGAs or the Socom 4 and Starhawk Reveal! I wont be getting MW3, nothing spectacular from the looks of it. This on going war between battlefield and MW, EA and Activition is just silly! The only first person shooter thats got me pumped this fall is Resistance 3 and that's whats got me spending my money!
But there are a dime a dozen Zombie survival horror games and to me the best one on the market right now is Dead Space 2. I was watching the Opening announcment trailer for Dead Island and it was very power with that kid. ashame they gave into the complaint. in the notion of a zombie break out these things are expected to happen. I'd love to watch this entire game be played because i dont intend to buy it, but these pricks at IGN talk way too freakin much
It's not the first game to recieve patches on day one. This is coming from the beta feed back, the patch contains bug fixes, skin,s perks, taunts, and a new game mode based on request of fans. That's why its large.
Crysis 2, crackdown, FIFA, ncaa 2009, project gotham racing 3 all had day one patches and people didn't care!
People just love to run their mouth for no reason! I know games that get patched 2 to 3 weeks to fix issues that shipped with the game, instead even a month like Gear's Broken ass multiplayer! its cool though troll logic is troll logic

Its really gotten ridiculous hasnt it? The truth is that Devs are not benefiting from MS's publishing policies. I forsee the big publishers like EA and activision walk all over MS and do big things but other publishers like capcom and sega and and indi devs will have to play devil's advocate!

I especially loved Radio ad, it was very heartfelt and strong! I hope gamers on the PS3 really come and bring this game home! i'd really like resistance to be something to talk about! resistance 3 really is a game you have to sit down and play:-) the kevin Butler commercial is funny and awesome too! Looooooove the Goliath in the background! The white steed was a nice touch too LOL!
