It doesn't need to be genre breaking to sell well. It just needs to be the best of its genre, or close enough. Don't go bashing other games when they don't re-invent the genre.

MGO is actually really fun. Not as good as COD4 but it still will keep me hooked on the game for a long time, as well the singleplayer in MGS4 is packed with extras and easter eggs and lots of stuff, I'm on my third play through on the second hardest difficulty, and trust me its harder than any Halo Legendary mode.
MGS4 sold 1.4 million units in one DAY! And that includes people who love MGS so much that they actually went out to buy a PS3.
He's talking about the HD Version on GT, and it does look like the PS3 wins graphically, even though it is very close.
Your logic sucks, Uncharted kicks all 360 games asses graphically just look at the water affects, and MGS4 looks even better than Uncharted. Even Gears 2 looks worse than Uncharted.
