Squaresoft screwed themselves with the massive success of ffx, they got bighead and made that stupid move which lead to Enix merger.
Im on a lg c1 and they have fixed most of the graphical issues in performance mode.
Still see a little shimmer but its only on foliage.
4k down to 1800p should not be that drastic.
It's not a tool used for challenges but for immersion.
Simple walking up a letter or manually opening a door creates the feeling of immersion.
